New York Baby!
A week and a half in New York without Mom was hard but fun. Grandma and Poppa helped make everything easier. Thank God for them!
On the Sesame St Set..

Look Mom! I'm walking in the street with a dog! And I'm not holding an adult's hand! Yahoo!
Grandma graduates! And a Great-Grandpa is there to share in the love.
The happy couple.
The following day, the youngest sibling graduates college...Congrats Shelly!!!
The meeting of the minds...
The best part about being a grandparent and a great-grandparent is that you don't have to take them home with you. And Dad was glad of that!
Popsicle! Look Sis-sis!
What the hell do I do with this thing?
You eat it like this! (Jamie starts in on bad advice)
Proud Papa and Mama to be...
Poppa and Dylan.
I never thought I would see it, but now that its on the internet, it must be real. Love you Dad!
How do I steer this thing?

Only the most attractive pictures will be posted on this blog. Thanks for cooperating Beth!
Umm, do you want fries with that?
On the last day in NY, it was Grandma's shoulder that provided relief.

The Brainy's had a great time in NY. Thanks for everyone who helped us out and make it such a wonderful time! We love you all!

Today's Journey to Underwood Farms
Well, it's Easter weekend for the Catholics, and Underwood Farms capitalized on it. It was Family Day. A solid 45 minute drive from our westside LA abode, but worth ever penny we spent on the rides and the goodies at the farm. Let's start with the 25 cent vending machines with pellet food for all the animals. Feed the tube and not the actual animal because they may take your hand, arm and eyeballs for dessert.
The goats had a skyview apartment.
A tractor ride in 55 gallon barrels cut to look like cows - 4 tickets. It was amazing dad could fit his fat load into that thing with Jamie too, but we did our best - bumps and bruises and all...

Playing in the wooden choo choo.
The farmer's daughter in the hay...
I can't imagine if it actually worked.
The Easter Bunny did little to phase Jamie. Chocolate is such a treat to him that he forgot that there was a strange man in a bunny costume behind him.
Such a surreal shot and a great look on his face.
Riding the ponies. 4 tickets.
Dylan and Kate. 2 tickets that'll cost a lot more later in life for the parents. :)
